The United Nations Global Compact is the world’s largest and most important initiative for responsible corporate governance. The vision of the UN Global Compact is an inclusive and sustainable global economy based on the 10 universal principles. FuturAbility signed the Global Compact in December 2019. The Global Compact Network Austria supports companies and organisations in aligning their strategies and activities with the sustainability goals and vision of the UN Global Compact. As a signatory of the Global Compact, FuturAbility is involved in the Austrian network, and the GCNÖ is cooperation partner in the Sustainability Index project.
UNEP, the United Nations Environment Programme, is the leading global environmental authority that sets the global environmental agenda, promotes the coherent implementation of the environmental dimension of sustainable development within the United Nations system, and serves as an authoritative advocate for the global environment. UNEP is responsible, among other things, for SDG indicator 12.6.1, and is FuturAbility’s cooperation partner in the Sustainability Index project.
SDG Watch Austria is an association of more than 200 civil society and non-profit organisations. They work together for an ambitious implementation of the 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Austria. FuturAbility has been a member since December 2019, and SDG Watch Austria supports the Sustainability Index project.
aaia, the Austrian Angel Investors Association, is Austria’s leading network for angel investors, and cooperation partner of FuturAbility’s Impact Investment Initiative.
EBAN, the European Business Angel Network, is the pan-European representative for the early stage investor community gathering over 150 member organizations in more than 50 countries today. The EBAN Institute is an independent international research and education initiative fostering the development of business angels, and organizes in cooperation with FuturAbility masterclasses for impact investing.
SENA, the Social Entrepreneurship Network Austria, is the interest group for entrepreneurship with positive social impact in Austria, and cooperation partner of FuturAbility’s Impact Investment Initiative.
IMP, the Impact Management Project, provides a forum for building global consensus on how to measure, manage and report impacts on sustainability. Since 2019, FuturAbility is part of the IMP Practitioner Community.
FHWien der WKW is Austria’s leading university of applied sciences for management and communication. Since 2019, FuturAbility has been compiling the ranking of Austrian sustainability reports with students from this university.
